Text Box: SOUTH LOUISIANA DUCK/DEER HUNT OR FISHING Come hunt South Louisiana-Mississippi River Duck Flyway on Deshotel's Plantation. Six thousand acres of flooded rice fields and flooded timber. Stay in newly built 5,500 sq. ft. luxurious Plantation Lodge located in the center of Deshotel's Plantation. Enjoy Cajun cuisine at its finest.   · Thursday: Arrive at Baton Rouge airport, pick-up will be arranged, or land on the Plantation's 2000 ft. concrete strip. · Thursday Evening: Get acquainted with a steak supper and duck/sausage gumbo. · Friday Morning: Enjoy a fully cooked breakfast and off to a fully guided duck hunt. Come in for lunch and enjoy fried chicken, sandwiches, etc. · Friday Afternoon: Choice of semi-guided trophy deer hunt, or enjoy bass fishing in one of the many stocked lakes. · Friday Evening: Enjoy some of Louisiana's finest seafood - Crawfish, shrimp, crabs, and oysters. · Saturday: Same routine, except for supper you can enjoy a traditional Cochon de Lait (Roast Pig) Supper. · Sunday Morning: Enjoy a hearty breakfast and a duck hunt. Enjoy a prepared lunch and back to airport.   · When not hunting or fishing, enjoy relaxing in the Lodge watching your favorite sports on satellite TV or video of your personal hunt on a big screen television. You can also relax on the porches watching ducks and geese migrate from pond to pond and resident bald eagles swoop down after wounded ducks. All food and beverages are furnished!
